Occupational Noise Assessment
Bradley Environmental have a qualified team of consultants to undertake your Occupational Noise Assessment or Noise Survey.
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 requires employers to undertake a regular noise assessment to identify the following:
- Sources of noise exposure;
- Adequacy of risk assessment;
- Those persons affected;
- The effectiveness of existing control measures;
- The improvements or additional controls that can be implemented.
A Noise Assessment is a key element in the compliance of a noise risk assessment and action plan.

Employee exposure to occupational noise occurs in many industrial sectors ranging from factories to construction and demolition sites.
Current legislation places specific responsibilities on employers to undertake an Occupational Noise Assessment and Survey to assess risks and to prevent or minimise any exposure to workplace noise.
We also provide a comprehensive Environmental Noise Assessment in accordance with BS4142, which may be required as part of an IPPC application or to investigate the potential for noise complaints from industrial processes.
