COSHH Awareness Training

Course Aim

This COSHH Awareness Training course is aimed at those who use substances hazardous to health at work and introduces delegates to the hazards associated with those substances, the risks and controls available and what to expect from a COSHH assessment.

There are a wide range of chemicals and other hazardous substances used within the workplace, often without thought or concern of the health implications.

Successful completion will prepare delegates to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who may use hazardous substances in the workplace.

Course Content;

• An understanding of the COSHH Regulations
• How ill health and injuries occur
• Why we use a Risk Assessment and the legal requirements
• COSHH Assessments in practice
• The principles for controlling substances hazardous to health

Course Duration: 0.5 Day

Price: £395.00 per course for up to 15 delegates

Certification

Following completion of a simple assessment, delegates will be awarded the COSHH Awareness Training Certificate of Attendance and Achievement.

Location

This course can be delivered at one of our dedicated training centres, alternatively, we can deliver this course at your own premises.

Extra costs may be involved if the course is to be run at a client's own premises lying a significant distance from our training centres.
