Manual Handling Instructors/Assessors Course
Course Aim
To equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to be able to instruct other staff in safe manual handling technique, and to carry out manual handling risk assessments effectively.
Who Should Attend
Designed for those currently or planning to be in a training role, to enable them to teach others in Manual Handling.

- The reasons for managing health & safety – moral, economic and legal
- Legal requirements relating to manual handling
- Accident causation
- Risk assessment
- Common manual handling injuries
- Anatomy of the spine
- Manual handling risk assessment
- Manual handling control measures
- Safe lifting technique
- Communication and training skills
Course Duration: 2.0 Days
Price: £975.00 per course for up to 12 delegates
Certification
Following completion of an assessment and training presentation, delegates will be awarded the Manual Handling Instructors/Assessors Course Certificate of Attendance and Achievement.
Location
This course can be delivered at one of our dedicated training centres, alternatively, we can deliver this course at your own premises.
Extra costs may be involved if the course is to be run at a client's own premises lying a significant distance from our training centres.
