Manual Handling Awareness
Course Aim
To equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to be able to carry out manual handling safely and without risk of injuring themselves or others.
Who Should Attend
Any staff required to conduct manual handling activities in the workplace.
Course Content;
- Reasons for managing health and safety – moral, economic and legal
- Health and safety law applicable to manual handling
- How the spine works
- How injuries happen
- Manual handling risk assessment
- Control measures
- Safe lifting technique (including practical element)
Course Duration: 0.5 Day
Price: £395.00 per course for up to 15 delegates
Certification
Following completion of a simple assessment, delegates will be awarded the Manual Handling Awareness Certificate of Attendance and Achievement.
Location
This course can be delivered at one of our dedicated training centres, alternatively, we can deliver this course at your own premises.
Extra costs may be involved if the course is to be run at a client's own premises lying a significant distance from our training centres.
