Unit 2 of the NEBOSH General Certificate – Controlling Workplace Hazards
Element 1 – Movement of People and Vehicles
Element 2 – Manual and Mechanical Handling
Element 3 – Work Equipment
Element 4 – Electricity
Element 5 – Fire
Element 6 – Chemical and Biological Hazards
Element 7 – Physical and Psychological Health Hazards
Element 8 – Construction Activities
Unit 3 of the NEBOSH General Certificate - Health and Safety Practical Application
Course Duration: 11.0 Days plus exams
Price: £1345.00 per person
Prices includes exam fees, course materials, lunch and refreshments.
Certification
Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit. A Certificate award parchment is issued on completion of the two units and the practical assessment.
The practical assessment is arranged by Phoenix Health and Safety and carried out in a simulated workplace environment.
The NEBOSH General Certificate is accepted by IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH). It is also accepted by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) for associate membership.
