A vacancy has arisen for an Asbestos and Legionella Bid Co-ordinator. The role will entail overall responsibility for sourcing, collating and final submission of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender applications on behalf of the company.

This post can be located at any of our four offices: Halesowen (West Midlands), Ossett (West Yorkshire), St Asaph (North Wales) or Blackpool.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
  • Some people management experience is desirable, as the post will require the direction of an administrative assistant and liaison with several senior technical staff across the company.
  • Motivated with excellent organisational skills, flexible and commercially focused
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a must
  • A good standard of education is required to GCSE level or equivalent

The role involves using a range of web sites to identify suitable contract opportunities and making initial applications, reviewing information provided to ensure suitability and that the required information is submitted in a well presented format and of a high standard, within set deadlines. Other responsibilities include working on large projects with other members of the team editing and reviewing information, maintaining company records and collating feedback. Some other general sales and marketing activities may also be required.

Full training will be provided, which will also include the attendance of some courses relating to the industry and market sectors in which we work.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), flexible working hours can be accommodated. Annual holiday entitlement is 22 days plus 8 statutory bank holidays (long service award at 3 and 5 years). Company paid health and well-being plan (long service award at 3 and 5 years). Company pension is available.

Salary is negotiable between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum and is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
