We are excited to announce that as a result of continued growth in our asbestos surveying and consultancy department we are currently recruiting for a Project Scheduler / Administrator based at our Blackpool office.

Roles and Responsibilities
The position will require the successful candidate to work in conjunction with the Technical Managers, administering both planned and reactive asbestos works. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling analytical works and asbestos surveys, the effective deployment of site staff day-to-day, dealing with client enquiries, booking appointments and providing quotations for works in conjunction with the technical team. In addition, the role will involve day-to-day liaison with our report production and laboratory teams across the UK, to ensure that reports are delivered to clients in a timely manner. In addition the successful candidate will be trained to format data sets to produce asbestos survey reports.
Person Specification
The successful candidate must also possess the following:
- A good general standard of education to GCSE level, or equivalent
- Strong organisational skills are essential, preferably demonstrated through recent/previous work experience
- Excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
- Previous Asbestos industry experience or qualifications are desirable, however, a strong administrator with suitable transferrable skills may be considered as industry-specific training will be given, including IOSH Managing Safely and other selected nationally recognised asbestos qualifications
- The ability to interpret technical data and produce reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver first rate customer service
- Ability to work under own initiative and manage own workload
What We Can Offer You
The hours of work are 40 per week Monday to Friday from 8.00am - 4.30pm
- Competitive salary between £22,505.60 - £23,920.00 dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications
