Marketing Assistant - Halesowen

We are recruiting an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our Sales and Marketing team in Halesowen (Head Office). The Marketing Assistant will be supporting the Marketing Manager on a day to day basis. This role is pivotal to ensuring our marketing campaigns are a success particularly in regards to customer engagement and interaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager to build and implement a clear strategy for the promotion and marketing of services, strictly in line with the business plan.
  • Raise the profile of the companies LinkedIn account by posting regular interesting content, updates and respond to comments and messages.
  • Submit ideas for effective marketing campaigns designed to enhance and grow the company’s profile and brand.
  • Be instrumental in developing video and image content to be used on website and social media platforms.
  • Assist with email and hard mailer marketing campaigns to existing and prospective clients.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in analysing and compiling campaign effectiveness reports.
  • To maintain an acute commercial awareness of the marketplace including competitor activity and marketing initiatives for all services we offer.
  • Engaging with customers via our Live Chat website application, offering customer services support and directing enquiries to the correct department.

Person Specification

  • Experience in digital marketing, social media platforms for business and content marketing in a B2B environment would be advantageous.
  • IT skills - Word, Excel, and ideally Adobe Premiere Packages, particularly Premier Pro.
  • An excellent communicator, detail orientated with good copy writing skills.
  • Ability to use own their initiative.
  • A collaborative and friendly approach.
  • Works well under pressure, keeps calm and can prioritise.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Team player, but able to work autonomously and remotely.
  • Flexible, adaptable and wiling to learn.

What We Can Offer You

  • 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • A competitive salary of up to £21,000.00 PA.
  • Company paid healthcare plan.
  • Company pension (into which the company contributes 3% of qualifying earnings).
  • 22 days' holiday per annum (which rises to 25 after 3 years and 27 days after 5 years) plus the 8 statutory bank holidays.
