Roles and Responsibilities
 
The position will require the successful candidate to manage the booking a high volume of appointments for survey works in tenanted and unoccupied properties for a range of regional and (occasionally) national clients in the public and private sector. Experience of dealing with a high volume of calls is a must. Liaison with other offices is also required to deliver a first-class service. Additionally in the longer term, the successful candidate will be developed and be trained to deal with client enquiries for a range of environmental services and to support the Technical Managers in organising both planned and reactive asbestos works.

Person Specification

The successful candidate must also possess the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver first rate customer service
  • Experience of handling a variety of incoming and external calls
  • A good general standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Good IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
  • Previous industry experience desirable however a strong administrator with suitable transferrable skills would be considered as Industry training will be given (including the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised qualifications)
  • Ability to work within a team and under own initiative

What We Can Offer You

The hours of work are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with 30 minutes unpaid break for lunch. We can offer some flexibility with hours and are negotiable for the right candidate.

The starting salary is between £19,760.00 - £22,000.00 per annum (however salary is negotiable dependent on experience and industry qualifications).

In addition, the successful candidate will receive company paid healthcare (long service award applies), company pension into which the company contribute 3% of qualifying earnings, 22 days holiday (long service award applies) plus 8 statutory bank holidays and contractual sick pay after 6 months continuous service.
