A vacancy has arisen for an Asbestos and Legionella Bid Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities

The role will involve assisting in the sourcing, collation and submitting of Pre-qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender Applications on behalf of the company. The role will also involve using an range of websites to identify suitable contract opportunities and making initial applications, reviewing information provided to ensure suitability and that the required information is submitted in a well presented format and of a high standard within set deadlines. Other responsibilities will include working on large projects with other members of the team editing and reviewing information, maintaining company records and collating feedback along with some other general sales and marketing activities may also be required.

Person Specification

The successful candidate must also possess the following:

  • A good standard of education to GCSE or equivalent level is required
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
  • The ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Be motivated with excellent organisation skills, flexible and commercial focussed.

Full training will be provided, which will also include the attendance of some courses that relate to the industry and market sectors in which we work.

What We Can Offer You

The salary is negotiable between  £17,500.00 and £21,000.00 per annum depending on experience. The hours of work are 37.5 Monday to Friday (flexibility of start and finish times within reason).  In addition,  company paid healthcare (long service award applies), company pension into which the company contribute 2% of qualifying earnings, 22 days holiday (long service award applies) plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
