Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be a dynamic fast learner with transferable skills and have the ability to offer IT assistance in person and remote desktop support to all staff, undertake PC installation and maintenance, install and remove software and set up new starters on the servers and systems. In addition, the successful candidate will monitor PC usage, maintain inventory, ensure servers are backed up daily and liaise with suppliers to ensure efficiency.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate must possess:

•Outstanding organisational skills

•Be an excellent communicator and team worker

•The ability to manage own workload and work on own initiative

•A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Windows 10 and Office 2016 are essential

•5 GCSE at C and above are essential and IT qualifications such as CompTIA would be an advantage

What We Can Offer You

The contractual hours are 40 per week and the starting salary is £18,000.00 to £19,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, a company paid healthcare package (long service award applies), 22 days’ holiday per annum to start (long service award applies) plus 8 statutory bank holidays, company pension into which the company contributes 3% of qualifying earnings and contractual sick pay.
