A vacancy has arisen for an Asbestos and Legionella Bid Administrator based at our Halesowen Office. The role will involve assisting in the sourcing, collation and submitting of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender applications on behalf of the company. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful nation-wide consultancy which has been established for over 26 years, providing services to a wide range of clients.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010

  • Motivated with excellent organisational skills, flexible and commercially focused

  • The ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a must

  • A good standard of education is required to GCSE level or equivalent

The role involves using a range of web sites to identify suitable contract opportunities and making initial applications, reviewing information provided to ensure suitability and that the required information is submitted in a well presented format and of a high standard, within set deadlines. Other responsibilities include working on large projects with other members of the team editing and reviewing information, maintaining company records and collating feedback. Some other general sales and marketing activities may also be required.

Industry experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided, which will also include the attendance of some courses relating to the industry and market sectors in which we work.

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (time bands flexible between 8.00am and 5.00 pm). Other benefits include company paid health and well-being plan (long service award at 3 and 5 years). 22 day’s holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays -pro-rata for part-time hours (long service award at 3 and 5 years) and company pension.

The salary is negotiable between £14,862.00 - £16,500.00 and is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
