Asbestos Awareness 

We run regular public open courses from our Birmingham, Wakefield, Blackpool and Conwy (North Wales) training venues.  Our UKATA Asbestos Awareness training is mandatory for those who will or may come into contact with asbestos as part of their daily work activity such as: general maintenance staff; electricians, gas fitters; plasterers; roofers; fire and burglar alarm installers; shop fitters.

Asbestos Refresher Course 

Our UKATA Certified Asbestos Awareness Refresher Training course builds upon the delegates existing knowledge of asbestos in buildings. The course encourages interactive participation by the delegates ensuring that a repeat of the initial training is not used. The course can be made bespoke to your needs and can accommodate up to 20 people per session.

Asbestos Removal Cat C New Operative Training Course

This UKATA Certified 'Category C' course  is designed for all persons about to begin work within the asbestos removal industry. This certified course is tailored to delegates who have received no prior training; it includes a mix of both theoretical and practical elements. The syllabus complies with the new control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012, along with HSE guidance as outlined in chapter 4 of HSG247.

Managers Role and Responsibilities

This course is aimed at those persons who manage commercial premises or have responsibilities for the asbestos within buildings and want to know and understand just exactly what is expected of them. This one day course is suitable for facilities managers, property managers and health and safety managers who have a duty to manage asbestos in buildings as defined in regulation 4 of the control of asbestos regulations 2012.
