The health, safety and wellbeing of our teams, our clients and our client’s employees and buildings, remain our number one priority during the global pandemic of COVID-19.

Following the announcement on Monday from the Prime Minister, detailing the National Lockdown for for England, Wales and Scotland, we want to reassure all of our clients that our Core Compliance Services and the delivery of essential Training Courses are still fully operational.

This includes our Asbestos Compliance, Legionella Management, Workplace Health and Safety Consultancy, Occupational Hygiene and Training services.

We continue to adapt and evolve our working procedures and our available resources in line with the latest guidance and regulations, with constant consideration for yours and our safety, in line with the UK Government’s “Working Safely During COVID-19” guidance.

On-Site Staff (Asbestos, Legionella, Health & Safety and Training)

Our staff continue to follow our COVID-secure protocols when carrying out works on-site. Examples of how we are currently mitigating risk on-site and in our offices include:

  • Those of our team who can work from home continue to do so for the foreseeable future, with all equipment required for seamless service delivery to our clients;
  • Extra space, one-way systems, staggered breaks and split shift rotas have been assigned in our four UKAS ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratories;
  • Allocated appointment slots for site staff to attend our storerooms to pick up any equipment they require;
  • Hand sanitisers and masks (RPE) issued to all staff who are required to attend sites;
  • On-site staff will carry out a dynamic risk assessment prior to entering a client’s property or site
  • Feedback is encouraged between our teams, Senior Management and Directors, of their encounters with both positive and poor experiences of social distancing applications in our offices and out on-site.

Our Training Centres

Our Asbestos and Health and Safety Training Centres are fully COVID-secure.

Our measures include:

  • Limited number of delegates on each course;
  • Regular deep cleaning of classrooms;
  • Practical exercises carried out maintaining 2 metre distance;
  • PPE offered to delegates;
  • Courses split across classrooms for better social distancing;
  • All test/practical equipment sanitised before and after use;
  • Toilets deep cleaned daily and all staff/delegates using toilets must observe meticulous standards of personal hygiene;
  • Areas used for refreshments sanitised after every use and social distancing requirements in breakout areas;
  • Paper cups and individual coffee/tea sachets etc. provided and delegates encouraged to bring their own lunch/snacks;
  • Clear segregation between office staff members and training delegates;
  • Drinking water dispensers sanitised on a regular basis.

Face Fit Testing

Our Face Fit Testing Service and the provision of Respiratory Personal Equipment to our clients remains and we have even more availability to deliver this essential service to any business in the UK. Our dedicated RPE Face Fit Testers will come to your premises, anywhere in the UK. We can also provide you with your Respiratory Protection Equipment.

  • On-site (your premises) Face Fit Testing;
  • Purchase of Essential Respiratory Equipment.
