Starting from humble beginnings in May 1991, from a single room in Dudley in the West Midlands, with just 6 members of staff, the business has grown substantially over the last three decades. We now operate nationally from 5 self-sufficient offices and 3 satellite locations across the country, employing over 140 staff.

welder factoryFrom the 4th of May 2021, the HSE will be targeting firms across Great Britain in a new series of inspections focussing on metal fabrication businesses to check that they are managing the respiratory risks of welding fumes and metalworking fluids.

The HSE inspectors will be focussing on workers who undertake welding and use metalworking fluids to check that they are complying with the welding fumes guidance and metalworking fluid guidance.

During the visits, dutyholders will need to demonstrate they have measures in place to manage risks to protect their workers from occupational lung disease.

nhs imageSandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust have confirmed our support services for April 2021, meaning we have officially been at both City and Sandwell Hospital, providing our vital Face Fit Testing Service, for over a year.

We have performed 9,584 fit tests across the Trust and have had a physical presence on site for just under 300 out of the 365 days or so available. This has also given us a great opportunity to upskill dozens of staff in both qualitative and quantitative fit testing. We will also be looking to put several staff through the Fit2Fit accreditation in the coming months.
