Members of staff from our head office in Halesowen, West Midlands, have signed up to take on the Wolf Run this summer. The 5k run will include a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle courses. Wolf Run Article Size

The team are joining our Project Scheduler, Gemma, and her friends & family to raise money for Brain Tumour Research which is a charity close to their heart.

Gemma lost her son to a brain tumour in 2021 and every year dedicates her time to raise money for charity to help stop others going through what they went through and to support the funding of long-term sustainable research in the UK.

“The more we can raise to fight this horrendous disease will hopefully in the future mean that no one else will go through what we did. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40, than any other cancer…yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease”.

In 2004 a group of chairities that became the founding members of Brain Tumour Research launched Brain Tumour Awareness month that runs throughout March, by doing this the charity leads a packed programme of activities to raise awareness and funds to get close to funding a cure for all types of brain tumours.

Everyone involved in the Wolf Run are doing so to honour Riley and we will be fundraising for Brain Tumour Research, as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK.
