This UKATA Approved Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Course provides the essential theoretical and practical training required to carry out non-licensed work involving asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) safely. The course is designed for individuals whose work activities may bring them into contact with ACMs and meets the requirements of CAR 2012 Regulation 3(2) and HSG210 guidance.
Employees who are likely to knowingly disturb ACMs during work classified as Non-Licensed Work (NLW) or Notifiable Non-Licensed Work (NNLW) must also receive appropriate task-specific training relevant to the work they undertake.
To attend this course, learners must have successfully completed a UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course within the previous six months. Evidence of this training must be provided and verified by the training provider before the course start date. Where an Asbestos Awareness certificate is more than six months old, learners will be required to complete a new UKATA Asbestos Awareness course before attending.
