The position will primarily entail working alongside the Business Development Manager, existing Key Account Managers and Key Account Technical Administrators to co-ordinate and deliver asbestos and water hygiene services to our contracted and managed national clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Having sole responsibility for a large national key account client(s)
  • Project Management of client(s) including customer service, relationship development and contract maintenance
  • Proactive management of KPIs and service level agreements 
  • Implementation of new work streams
  • Promoting ancillary work to drive additional asbestos, water hygiene and remediation sales 
  • Preparation of quotations for air testing, surveying and asbestos consultancy works
  • Ensuring effective communication with the corresponding technical teams
  • Commercial awareness of client turnover (projected and actual) and sales expectations in line with market place conditions and the business plan 
  • Develop knowledge of contracts while proactively working toward the securement of term extensions
  • Ensuring that all asbestos works are carried out strictly in line with our ISO17020 and ISO17025 Accreditation requirements
  • Investigating complaints in line with our internal procedure and ensuring our customers receive a first class aftercare service
  • Help promote continuity of reporting across all offices and feedback to technical and admin staff as appropriate. 
  • Support surveyors/analysts with technical queries at a competent level

Person Specification

  • A combination of BOHS Proficiency Qualifications (or equivalent) such as the P402, P403, P404, P405, W505 or CCP (Asbestos)/Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
  • Significant experience of asbestos-related works, including survey and analytical works
  • A strong belief in excellent customer service and the customer experience
  • Effective leadership skills, as well as the ability to always maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Excellent communication, client liaison and report writing skills with a keen focus on attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Have an excellent understanding of Health & Safety with respect to asbestos-related works
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • Be I.T. literate (experience of working with TEAMS would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Full driving license
