Our Training Manager Matt Dawes recently visited the Falkland Islands to carry out some private training. 

From employees from the Falkland Island Company to contractors and government employees, Matt trained many different clients on multiple courses throughout the week including our UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course, UKATA Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Course and BOHS P402 Buildings Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos Course.

Meera Health and safetyMeet Meera the newest member of our Health and Safety team here at Bradley’s. Meera joined us as a Health and Safety Consultant this month and we are really excited to have her on board! We asked her some questions about her previous role, her reasons for applying to Bradley's and what she likes to do in her spare time.

Where did you work before and what was your job role?

Sentinel Safety Solutions Ltd (a risk management consultancy) where I provided advice, audited a number of clients premises, reviewed risk assessments and conducted COSHH assessments.

We currently run two successful P405 Management of Asbestos courses in both Birmingham and Dewsbury so we have decided to expand the course to Preston.

Matt, who has previously worked for a Social Housing provider overseeing Asbestos Management, has been speaking at the HQN’s compliance events and giving delegates expert advice and information about Asbestos Management in the sector.

We are now officially a Legionella Control Association registered company and are proud to be able to assist our clients with high standards of service in controlling legionella risks in their water systems.

The LCA is a voluntary organisation which comprises of providers and products concerned with the control of legionella bacteria in water systems. The primary aim is to keep water systems safe and minimise the risk of cases of Legionnaires' disease caused by poorly maintained systems.
